MUSEUM COMMISSIONConcentrik
An arc in conversation with the Gerhard Richter piece opposite it. While the Richter uses repeating circles to speak quietly, hypnotically, “Concentrik” is a force of pent up energy, shouting to be heard.
The name Concentrik comes from the dictionary definition: of denoting circles, arcs, or other shapes that share the same center, the larger often surrounding the smaller.
