Out of Water, floral art installation st mary's cathedral, san francisco. october 2009 commissioned by cathedral festival of flowers.
Part One of the Four Elements of Nature series, the piece is inspired by the purity and divine energy of the Water. Above the baptismal font, a dramatic ethereal cascade of white flowers and sparkling glass globes is suspended within an asymmetrical composition of curved copper elements ascending 20-feet skyward.
